A blend of Garnacha, Cariñena, Cabernet and Syrah, this is delicious Priorat, and provides further proof to the increasing body of evidence that 2012 is a very good year in this region. Ripe yet crunchy red fruit flavors show terrific intensity tempered by lovely minerality. Alain Graillot (of Crozes-Hermitage fame) is now at the helm of the winemaking team here, and it seems to show in this wine’s balance and purity.
