The Sanford & Benedict vineyard was the first to be planted in the Santa Barbara area in 1971 because of its unique position where the mountains run East-West, channeling Pacific Ocean breezes to the vineyard and creating one of the longest, coolest growing seasons. This phenomenon produces very ripe yet balanced Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Perfect Pairings Appetizers and crisp salads, pastas with cream sauces, seafood and poultry.
