At Roth, we believe that the quality of wine we produce is only as good as the fruit we start with. That’s why for our 2013 Pinot Noir we chose fruit from the finest vineyards in the Sonoma Coast region. On the nose, notes of clove, spices, dark berries and plum skin are showcased for a vibrant opening to this beauty. Bright and bold flavors of dark cherry, raspberry, violet, and spices are balanced by hints of sweet vanilla and oak. This wine is deep, powerful, and complex – a perfect example of Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. 2013 was another great vintage with high yields and high quality of the grapes. It was a very mild and moderate growing season, with little rain. This resulted in even ripening of the grapes and prime flavor development. The grapes were harvested September 14th to September 24th, 2013 at optimum ripeness.
