Kick back around the table and enjoy this wine’s intense and robust flavors. Notes of blackberry, wild raspberry and cassis make it a delicious complement to hearty pasta and barbeque dishes. Zinfandel is our signature wine, and with rich and layered flavores, it’s an excellent introduction to the Rosenblum Cellars style of winemaking. We designate an anniversary number to each Zinfandel cuvee blend, honoring our history with “America’s heritage grape.” Over the last 33 years of producing wines we have experienced a lot of unexpected surprises, but our Zinfandel cuvee is never one of them. This wine is crafted to be consistently reliable, showing bright fruits, supple body and inviting approachability. We used small lots during fermentation, extracting a depth of flavors and aromas with frequent punch downs and pump overs. To maintain the focus on the fruit, we minimized oak contact, giving the wine just enough time with the barrels to lend structure and subtle spice notes. Prior to bottling, we blended in a small amount of Petite Sirah to boost the fruit flavors and add structure.
