Brown rum distilled from fermented sugar cane syrup. This aged rum is distilled, aged and bottled at the Botran facilities in Guatemala. It shares many of the attributes of the other Botran products. From the aroma through the finish, the rich texture of tropical fruit, baking spices, dried nuts and smoky wood are exuded from the glass to the palate. The body is complex and balanced with caramelized banana notes in the body leading the lingering smoky finish. While not overly dry, Botran Solera is also not considered a sweet rum but one that will stand the test of time. Bottled at 80 proof.
