Description
The 2012 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon hails from one of the best vintages in modern day California history. The grapes were grown on three different vineyards. The Peline vineyards are on the bench and hillsides while the Silverwood and Ellis vineyards are high on the mountain. The tannins are abundant, yet soft and the flavors of blackberries, black cherries and sweet toast and vanilla are long. This is a wine that will hold up for years to come, but can be enjoyed now in the immediate future.
