Description
Made from 100% Cariñena grapes from 80 to 100 year old vines. Yields are less than a ton an acre from steeply terraced vineyards of granite and quartzite shards. Aged in new French barriques, bottled unfined and unfiltered. Intense garnet in color. Monsalvat has a potent and concentrated bouquet of red fruits. Ripe flavors of wild blackberries are backed by a long, mineral finish.
