Description
Shows a deep purple black color, with beautiful aromas of black cherry, tobacco and violets, as well as unique mineral notes. The palate is full and rich, silky texture with blanced fine tannins and a long finish. Coffee, cola and earth flavors run though this burly red. There’s a core of plum fruit, and enough acidity to keep it lively. Muscular but well-integrated, with lots of oak. Grenache, Carignane, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Best after 2008. 950 cases made. -TM, Wine Spectator, Score: 89
