Description
DESCRIPTION: This Chénas, grown on steep and granite-rich soils, is reminiscent of a Moulin-à-Vent with its deep colour and aromatic bouquet of violets and roses. This is one of the smallest appellations in the Beaujolais. WINEMAKING: Traditional vinification with controlled temperature. TASTING NOTE: The Chénas 2015 offers a nose of cherry and black cherry but also chocolate. On the palate, it is rich with flavours of black fruits with a beautiful lenght. SUGGESTED FOOD PAIRINGS: Wild game, meat dishes with sauce, roasts, charcuterie and cheeses.
