Description
Our 2015 Sauvignon Blanc has vibrant straw coloring with a tinge of green. The aroma is of guava, yuzu zest, pineapple with a hint of hay. You will find flavors of guava, key lime pie, citrus zest and Granny Smith apple with zingy acidity and a long polished finish. We grow and vinify our Sauvignon Blanc to be fresh, vibrant, and evocative of the grapes themselves. We have chosen a tin lined screwcap closure – unsurpassed in its ability to retain our wines exuberance. Please note that proper conservation requires cool, even temperatures and the absence of light. The 2012 growing season was the most moderate we’ve had for five years. 2011’s exceptionally small crop set the stage for a large one this year. Mild spring weather was conducive to outstanding fruit set, and a consistently warm, dry summer permitted the grapes to size-up and steadily ripen. Fruit quality was impeccable, with well-developed flavors and perfect acidity. Our 400 tons of Sauvignon Blanc were harvested from September 7, to October 10, 2012.
