Our Edna Valley Vineyard 2013 Chardonnay displays an attractive bouquet of quince, pear, ripe apple, apricot and light pineapple, with underlying brown spice notes of cinnamon and clove. A fresh mouthfeel, hints of vanilla and a bright acidity combine to form a long, pleasing finish in this medium-bodied wine. For three decades, we’ve crafted flavorful Chardonnay grapes from the Edna Valley into award-winning wine. Edna Valley Chardonnay is known for conveying a distinctive sense of place. As is typical of good Chardonnays, they use techniques like barrel fermentation, malolactic fermentation, lees stirring and aging in new oak barrels. Their goal is to balance these winemaking techniques with the unique flavors that come from growing Chardonnay in Edna Valley.
