Reminiscent of raspberry, wild strawberry, pomegranate and lilac notes, gently spiced with aniseed, sassafras and a touch of juniper berry. On the palate the wine showcases structure over bombast with bright acidity, clean fruit and graceful tannins that linger in the memory. -Steve Rogstad, Winemaker Our Estate Pinot Noir is a carefully crafted blend of wines from 20 distinct blocks in our Carneros estate vineyard. Each block is vinified separately, using gentle winemaking techniques such as open top fermentation, gentle punch-downs, basket pressing and French oak aging designed to preserve the wine’s delicacy and freshness. As a blend, the Estate Pinot Noir eloquently expresses the terroir to be found across our Carneros estate
