TASTING NOTES: Golden straw in color. Bold aromas of apple, honeydew, white flowers and citrus notes. Flavors center around apple, apricot, minerality and a hint of oak. Finishes with a rich texture and flavors that linger. VINTAGE NOTES: 2014 had a picture perfect growing season with warm days and cool nights throughout harvest in Sonoma County. The fruit for this wine came from several vineyards in the Middle Reach of Sonoma’s Russian River Valley. Smaller yields than in 2013 allowed for more intensity and ripeness in our Chardonnay. PAIRING SUGGESTIONS: Pair with roasted chicken, shellfish or richer seafood dishes. Also perfect to drink on its own as an apertif.
