The talented Philippe Secondé manages the house of Baurnaut in Bouzy, a village on the southern flank of the Reims Mountain celebrated for Champagne;s finest full-bodied wines. A descendant of Edmond Barnaut, who founded the house in 1874, Secondé farms 22 parcels(34 acres) of vines on Bouzy’s foothills. He ages his wines in cellars 15 meters under-ground and makes a range of Grand Cru Champagnes acclaimed for their density, depth, and elegance.
