Description
This wine is marked by soft, yet palpable tannin; a fresh almost strawberry aroma with hints of black cherries and mint. Barkan Pinot Noir has a medium body and crisp finish and goes well with grilled salmon or veal, and is best served slightly chilled. Has been produced in a similar fashion to the fine red wines of Burgundy. To produce this extraordinary wine required an exact balance of warm days and cool nights. They have found this balance in their vineyards at Mitzpeh Ramon in the High desert. Kosher for Passover
